The Open Market in the Old Port or Vieux Port is a great place to find fresh fruit or local Canadian products such as maple syrup, cheese, and some fruit wines. Just down the street from the Quebec Cruise Terminal is the Musee de la Civilisation where you can learn about Canadian history. Most hotels however are conveniently located from the cruise terminal. The nearest hotels are located in Old Quebec, Lesser Town area. Ships anchor at the “ Terminal de croisières“, or locally known as Ross Gaudreault Cruise Terminal, in Vieux Port or Basse-Ville (Old Port or Lower Town), below the Château Frontenac in the Pointe-â-Carcy area of the port. The cruise port is located at Québec’s waterfront within walking distance of Old Québec.
